PLASTIC RECYCLE of HONG KONG
Plastics make up the third-largest portion of the city's municipal solid waste, with thousands of tonnes discarded every single day
Every day, Hong Kong sends around 10,510 tonnes of municipal solid waste to landfill. Nearly 1,885 tonnes of it is plastic. In 2024, Hong Kong recycled only about 12.8% of its plastic waste, leaving the vast majority to be disposed of instead of given a second life.
Thirteen of Hong Kong’s sixteen landfills have already closed. With only three sites left and capacity expected to be exhausted around 2030, the city is running out of places to bury the consequences of a throwaway culture.

REVO Studio is a creative space for marketing ideas, product inspiration, and collaboration. Here, discarded plastic is transformed into thoughtfully designed objects that bring purpose, character, and everyday value to recycled materials.
WORKSHOP
With 3D printing, UV printing and CNC equipment, we rapidly prototype new products, demonstrate the recycling process and make material education hands-on. Through practical training, we help people understand how discarded plastic can be transformed into something useful, durable and worth keeping.
ECOHOPE RECYCLE FACTORY
REVO’s recycled materials are provided by ECOHOPE’s self-owned, 40,000-square-foot plastic recycling facility.
From sorting and shredding to washing, processing, and material making, collected plastic is transformed into recycled raw material ready for a new purpose.
FROM WASTE TO DESIGN
6 stages turn discarded plastic into finished REVO objects, transparent by design, sustainable by process.
01. Plastic Collection
Plastic waste is collected from homes, offices, schools, malls, and brand partners across Hong Kong. Every batch is logged by source, type, and weight to maintain full material traceability.
02. Sorting & Cleaning
Materials are carefully separated by polymer type, then washed and dried to remove labels, glue, and residue. This clean, controlled input is essential to achieving a refined finished product.
03. Materials Process
Sorted plastic is shredded and processed into flakes, pellets, or filament. These recycled materials form the foundation for REVO products, custom projects, and brand collaborations.
04. Product Design
We create recycled plastic products with a strong visual identity, thoughtful details, and a refined premium finish. Each design is developed to suit its purpose while showcasing the material's unique character.
05. Manufacturing
We works with trusted local and regional manufacturing partners to produce each design. The most suitable method, including injection moulding, pressing, or 3D printing, is selected based on the material, finish, quantity, and application.
06. Quality Assurance
Every REVO product is carefully checked for material quality, strength, finish, consistency, and overall appearance. Each piece must meet our design and durability standards before it is approved to carry the REVO name.
